These Terms and Conditions govern your use of digitalpustak.online and your purchase of any digital publication sold through it. By using this website or buying a book, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
1. About us
Digital Pustak publishes digital books in Hindi for Indian readers. The website is operated from India and these terms are governed by Indian law.
2. What you are buying
You are buying a digital product — a PDF e-book delivered as a download. No physical book is shipped. You will need a device capable of opening PDF files.
The price shown on the product page is in Indian Rupees and includes all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change our prices at any time, but a change will never affect a purchase you have already completed.
3. Payment and delivery
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We accept UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets, subject to what Razorpay supports at the time.
Delivery is immediate. Once your payment succeeds you are taken to a confirmation page containing a download link. Please save the file to your device at that point. If your download fails or the link does not work, email us and we will send you the file directly.
4. Your licence to use the book
When you buy a book you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read it for your own private and family use. You may print a copy for your own use.
You may not:
- Resell, rent, sub-licence or otherwise commercially distribute the book
- Upload it to any website, file-sharing service, cloud drive or messaging group
- Forward the download link or the file to people who have not purchased it
- Reproduce substantial portions of it in your own work without written permission
- Remove or alter any copyright notice contained in the file
All text, illustrations, cover art and design remain our intellectual property. We reserve the right to pursue remedies available under the Copyright Act, 1957 against unauthorised distribution.
5. Nature of the content — please read this
Our books are educational and informational. They are not a substitute for professional advice.
Nothing in our publications constitutes medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or financial advice, and reading them does not create any professional relationship between us and you. If your child is in distress, or if you are dealing with a matter involving safety, mental health, criminal conduct or the law, please consult a qualified professional or contact the appropriate authority. Relevant Indian helplines are listed inside the book.
App names, platform features, settings menus, slang and online risks change constantly. We research carefully and update our books periodically, but we cannot guarantee that every detail remains current at the moment you read it. Parental control settings in particular are changed frequently by Google, Apple and app developers.
Results vary from family to family. We make no promise about any particular outcome from applying the ideas in our books.
6. Acceptable use of this website
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, interfere with its operation, scrape it by automated means, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase or use of our books is limited to the amount you actually paid for the book in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
8. Availability
We try to keep the website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the site for maintenance or withdraw a product from sale without notice.
9. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [ADD YOUR CITY], India.
